IRVINE, CALIFORNIA // March 27, 2008 - Paragon Biomedical, Inc., a global contract research organization (CRO) that manages Phase I-IV clinical trials, today announced the expansion of its medical monitoring and safety services.
In making the announcement, Mark Harvill, Paragon’s President and Chief Operating Officer, introduced the company’s new Medical Director, Liza DeAnnuntis, MD, as well as Sachidananda Moorthy, MD as medical lead for India, and Marcin Koziej, MD, as medical lead CEE/Poland.
“At Paragon, we understand every phase of our customers’ clinical development needs centers on patient safety,” Harvill said. “The expansion of our Medical Affairs team, including global medical monitoring and pharmacovigilence capabilities, underscores our commitment to our customer’s focus on safety and to exceeding quality standards.”
Paragon’s Medical Monitoring and Safety team will provide comprehensive Medical Monitoring, Pharmacovigilance, Safety Report Writing, and Medical Information services in support of Phase I-IV clinical trials on an international, round-the-clock basis.
Harvill said the expansion is a significant milestone for Paragon because it represents a continuation of the company’s strategic global expansion, as well as its continued growth.
